1729	Foy's Journal for November 15, 1729 reports. “Yesterday 7night at St Michael's, Cornhill, the Society of ringers called the College Youths, rung a 5000 changes in 4 hours and 8 minutes, and on Monday last the London Scholars began to ring the changes on the same bells at 55 minutes after XI in the forenoon, and continued ringing until 5 minutes after 3 in the afternoon, in which time they rang 4200 changes.” See November 24, 1729. Annable was one of three men ringing the tenor for the College Youths, and he conducted the peal, this being the first occasion a peal had been called from a covering bell.	CY17
1891	The augmented ring at St. Stephen's, Bristol, were rung for the first time. The rehanging and the two new trebles were paid for by a philanthropic body called the Ancient Society of St. Stephen's Ringers, and carried out by Llewellins and James.	nv
1925	Edwin Horrex, a prominent nineteenth century College Youth, died.	nv
1941	Gabriel Lindoff died in Dublin, aged 73. Although a skilled ringer, it was as a composer that his name became familiar to conductors throughout the Exercise, with compositions in many methods from Grandsire Triples to Treble Bob and London Surprise Major, including many long lengths.
