1986	The Hallowing of the ring of 13 for Peterborough Cathedral took place. The ten bells from St. John the Divine, Leicester, were transferred here and augmented by adding two trebles and a sharp second. They replaced a heavy ring of five, which had not been rung for more than fifty years.	nv
