1982	16,880 London Surprise Royal No 3 was rung in 11 hours and 31 minutes at All Saints, Worcester, conducted by D. C. Brown. This surpassed a peal rung only four weeks earlier at Lockington, Leicestershire. See August 21, 1982. 2004	On this day at South Petherton, Somerset a sponsored peal to support the training of priests in Zambia took place. Bishop Robert Mumbi from Zambia was there to say a prayer before the band started on the 11,088 Yorkshire Surprise Maximus, which they rang in 7 hours, composed and conducted by Brian Woodruffe.
